Heather Rantz
Heather Rantz joined Amwest Mortgage in 2001 bringing with her, years of lease financing experience and excellent problem solving skills. She has applied this deep understanding of brokerage financing to real estate finance and has developed a unique expertise in program selection for her client’s situations. During these past years of high loan volume, Heather has processed and closed hundreds of home loans. This experience has given her a greater understanding of the home loan process and the skill needed to provide creative solutions for her client’s individual needs.
Heather was born and raised in Southern California. She obtained a B. S. in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and was able to spend some time abroad studying in Europe. She moved to Lake Tahoe after college to enjoy the mountain life, and never left. She and her husband recently built a new home in Rubicon Bay, which they share with their son and dog. In her free time, Heather enjoys sailing and hiking at Lake Tahoe, cooking and fine wine, as well as traveling.
